If so there's summat not reight about you upstairs.

Not my first choice, see the benefits of keeping him on though. Not against it. Don't understand the negativity towards him.

Don't understand the negativity? Gi oer, you know full well why people are against him.

Have a word with hemmsy, he's much better at the attention seeking malarky, he could teach you loads.

I think I am going to stay away for a while no matter who gets the job

I, like many more, are worn down with the whole shebang.............its like constantly visiting an old friend that is slowly dying............I need a rest from it

I honestly don't. There's evidence that sometimes number 2s are nowt like the original gaffer. Might be wrong but after one game where the performance was a marked improvement on recent ones then some of the stuff on here is daft.

God help whoever the new manager is if they don't pick Bobby.

To me Flicker is too much like Hill, shares the sames principles and theories about football and all we are gonna get is Hill in disguise. To say in his post match interview, he left out Hassell to be with his family over the new year and he wanted someone more agile or whatever is something Hill would have said!
Nah we need a totally fresh start for me, giving the job to Flicker to me will be the cheapest way out and gives the wrong impression.

Bobby is a distraction in all this, Flitcroft could have let bobby pick the team and play wherever he wanted and it wouldn't really have changed most folks opinion of Flitcroft. People want a new manager to come in, make changes, turnaround our form and save us from the drop. I don't think they believe it's the right time to be giving yet another coach an opportunity to cut his teeth as a manager, especially one tarred with hills brush.

No manager will ever keep me from Oakwell and supporting anyone pulling on the Red shirt of Barnsley. If Parkin, Spackman and Hart couldn't do it, what chance does Flicker have?

The right hand man of the worst ever manager we have ever had? Time for a clean sweep pal.

Still not keeping me out of my club old ****. I've seen a lot worse than Keith Hill n'all and they had a lot more to work with.

Peter Doyle couldn't keep me away from Oakwell, if that ever happened I would be checking me keks for balls.

I'll give you that. Probs me overreacting. I've been out with a mate who has just lost his dad.
I'll still renew my season ticket next year. Only chance I get to meet up with my married mates who get a weekend pass!

Aye, hear that - miss my old fella tons, especially this time of year. :)

I'm running on blind faith to be honest, if I thought about too hard I'd probably get angry like a lot of others. Results have been awful but there have been flashes of brilliance that have torn me in half over Hill & Flitcroft. Even today, there was so much to admire in that performance.

It's fallen apart though and it's time to move on. I have to believe we'll stay up, I'll take the pain of relegation if and when it happens not before. And cheer on the lads and keep them believing they can do it, I would like a blood & thunder, double hard b@astard in til the end of the season. And then re=think it all again depending on what's happened.

Happy new year Daz, let's hope it's a good un. All the best.

The only sway you have over the club and the way it is run is the decision whether or not to give it your custom. When you indicate that you would still go whatever, you are really saying to the management "you can throw any old s**t at me and I'll still hand you my money". It's not in the long-term interests of the club to tolerate them bungling along as they are doing at present. To do that you really would have to be "not reight upstairs". Not that I would ever suggest that of you, Mr C, mind!

I repeat, if Flitcroft gets it - I'm out. And that goes for Billy Davies too.

I can completely understand the negativity and why some people are calling it a day but I wouldn't stop going. I am reviewing whether I want another season ticket at the end of the season regardless of who gets the job or what league we are in. While ever I am still going I would support Flicker.

No I wouldnt stop going but if the current home win ratio continues I would go less often - but that really applies whover we appoint
Only if we appointed Blackwell or Di Canio would I refuse to enter Oakwell anyone else I would tolerate. I wouldnt be happy with Flitcroft though as he is too linked to Hill but it wont stop me going but if he takes us down and is still in place I probably wont be renewing my Season Ticket and will just pay on the day for the games I attend

while a new manager may/may not keep us up hills sacking gave me renewed hope for the season, if flitcroft gets the job we may aswell kept hill, although for all we know hill might still be picking the team for flicker

I like the fact he tried someting new and went with 352. I would like to think he will keep with this system and get soem results on the board. I'm not too enthralled with the idea of him getting the job as it stands as I see him as patt of the problem with Keef.

It won't influence if I go or not next season as this as already been decided. I might get a season ticket but won't be attending many if any matches due to the fact I'm due to become a Dad before the end of this season...
