You could remove the words 'on', 'goal' and 'difference' and....

    it's still a true statement.

    Can't blame Richtea

He's paid the price for being ****. Davey boy took over and as yet has not produced the goods! If we go down he should go.

Sorry, don't qute follow the logic of that statement

    Goal difference

    Ritchie -14

    Davey -10

Not sure how that makes our bad goal difference "Davey's fault" ... and I'm not even going to mention the fact that goal difference wouldn't be an issue if we'd carried on with Ritchie's form ... we wouldn't have enough points for goal difference to be an issue.

Goal difference is both their faults then

As both have contributed a minus figure.

How can you talk about logic ,

when you use supposition to state that we would already be down if Ritchie was still in charge.

As we will never know what would have happened isnt it time it was left where it belongs , in the past.

That's not quite what I said

    What I said is

"if we'd carried on with Ritchie's form ... we wouldn't have enough points for goal difference to be an issue."

That doesn't pre-suppose that Ritchies form could not have been changed if he remained as manager, because as you rightly point out ... he never got chance ... so nobody will ever know what would have happened

I didn't want rid of Ritchie, but I think Davey gets a lot of unfair stick and results point to him having doing a better job than Ritchie. I thought Ritchie could have improved things.

What I don't like is people bad mouthing Davey when it looks like he's going to dig us out of a massive hole.

    You could say

It would be slightly more Ritchie's fault than Davey's ... but that would be pointless

My main concern is Davey getting unfair blame when if things go as we all hope he will he's done what I was starting to think wasn't possible. It disturbs me the number of fans who seem to have it in for Davey despite him turning things around to a point where we are on the brink of safety. It's a bloody thankless job being our manager! What we need for than fans to stop moaning is a big name successful manager like ... Spackman.

    and also......

Ritchiewas -14over 18 games -Davey is -10 over 26 so far-case proven beyond doubt -it was all Ritchie's fault:D and Davey is the manager to get us into the Premiership again-unless Chelsea want him to replace Jose

I'd get some money on that

    Davey as next Chelsea manager

Experience in the international transfer market
Familiar with running things on a tight budget
Can handle the pressure of the end of season run in

His CV looks made for it
