aye but only if you were Alanis Morrisette !!! ... Why would it be ironic ?
Quick edit... I suppose you mean that wednesday at home was his first ? That may be coincidental, not sure of ironic

RE: aye but only if you were Alanis Morrisette !!! An old man turned ninety-eight He won the lottery and died the next day It's a black fly in your Chardonnay Simon Davey gets sacked after playing Wednesday Isn't it ironic ... Is it ****
Like rain on your wedding day.... no unfortunate maybe... ... unless you were a weatherman who'd predicted fine weather ?(chinny)
Can somebody explain ironic to the man. I bought myself a new wrist watch yesterday, today i lost both my arms. Now that's ironic! Also it's very sad :-(
Well whatever... just that Fowls was the game the got him the job and could be the one that loses him it...
I'm pretty sure the 3-0 defeat by Wednesday didn't get him the job It's true that his appointment was announced after that game but I think it's safe to say the decision had already been made rather than the Wednesday result clinching it for him.
I know.. but that's how it felt. Perhaps it was the demonstration of total football otherwise known as playing players out of position that impressed PC, GS DH etc
