Filmed in and around Leeds if you didn't know. Film Company is based down Kirkstall Road, opposite from where old Yorkshire TV studios were. Although it's based in Birmingham, many of the buildings from that period were bombed in the war, so a lot of the filming is around Leeds, like City Varieties.

Some very dodgy accents but Cillian Murphy is unbelievably good. Hope Tom Hardy gets a bigger role in the new series too.

You need to let the BBC know about this then. Currently in production by the beeb and due to air late 2015. They'll be upset to know Netflix have bought the rights.

A story from Nov 2014! It's been in production a while. I know a couple of the film editors. Back on BBC later this year.

It will end up like Ripper Street. A brilliant series that for some inexplicable reason was axed by the BBC after two fantastic series. It ended up on Amazon Prime but then having realised what a massive mistake they had made it is back on the BBC.

I often wonder who is making some of these decisions.
