Have we accepted a fee for JCR...........? NO Does JCR want to leave........? NO (or at least not according to his comments on official site after signing new deal) Do we need to sell players to clear debts............? NO Has he fallen out with manager..........? NO (or at least wouldn't have thought so considering he is regular starter) Is his contract due to expires soon.........? NO Is JCR key player..........? YES Is he in form..........? YES (second highest goalscorer so far this season with 5goals) CONCLUSION: Considering he is key player and potential match winner, has no history injuries and in form of course clubs will look at him. They would be foolish not to as he is a prize asset. But that does not mean that he will leave! We don't not need to sell prize assets to pay off debts, and he seems happy here. Therefore for interested parties must be prepared to pay substatial fee for club to even consider allowing him to hold talks. When you consider our local rivials Shefield Wedneday & United sold midfielders Chris Brunt & Michael Tonge for £3m+, then offers for JCR must be in this region or above to even be considered. Until such time, why are you lot suggesting possible replacements for JCR and talking as if he's already gone. You make it sound like he's not wanted. I for one think he would be a major loss and that he is the most exciting talent we have seen at oakwell for some time. LONG LIVE JCR KING OF OAKWELL!!!!! I'll only start to worry if they make him captain.......... thats where it all went wrong for Howie!
