Just want to point out this to everybody having a go at Wrighty - Young lads that WERENT given a chance at Barnsley - Fallon, Beckett, Parkin. As it stands today I'd have ANY of them 3 back. Think more about how you'd feel if Wrighty went elsewhere & did well. So maybe he's no world beater now but he's 21 & deserves more of a chance. He's been singled out for missing sitters but lets face it, he usually comes on for 10 mins, still gets in scoring postions & who have we got that is prolific?? exactly nobody!! Would love to see him start a dozen games - I think he'd surprise a few - know some Leicester fans who'd have him back tomorrow!! Wright & Nads upfront...and stick to it until it comes good!!

He did abit better yesterday from what I have seen of him. He had a good header going back across goal which was cleared by the defender (looked like handball) and always looking to make the runs.

Felt for him when Richards didn't read the run and they ended up colliding into each other. Richards should have moved well in advance.

End of the day though, you'll get the idiots who will get on the players back and not give them the chance. For me, you cant judge a player on 20 minutes every other game.

don't disagree with you pal but,

we need someone experienced to lead the line and get us off to a reasonable start. Neither Tommy or Ricco are that man at the moment, in a few months maybe, but not now.

RE: don't disagree with you pal but,

Again, totally agree. We need that target man who will get you 15-20 goals per season.

agree totally, but as Ritchie is hell bent on giving existing players a chance, despite the missed so called sitters, I think he's a better bet than Richards - more intelligent footballer if nowt else

Hi it's me again from leicester. You are so correct. Give him chance, he is a good player but needs his confidence building up.
He will score the goals I am sure.
    Oooooooooooh Tommy Wright

DONT AGREE.........................and stick to it until it comes good!!

But I would keep Wright and Richards at the club and all the other young strikers
The thing is they are just that..........YOUNG
We haven't got time to stick with them until they come good
We are in the Championship and should be fighting for every point
We lost 3 on Setdi....probably a large part of that was the strike force
What we need is 2 proven goal scorers and Wright and Richards and the rest can be brought in if need be, later in the game or when one of the new guys gets injured
We shouldn't be relying on players that are not quite ready
But then again these guys in a year or twos time may be the finished article - so keep them at the club
In the mean time bring some strikers in

Dream on. We aint got no money, and strikers that score that number of goals in a season in this league cost loads.

Its ok its usual for some areas of BFC fans to get on the backs of young players and ask why they arent the finished article after only playing 20 mins here and there.

We will probably sell him for nowt and he will go somewhere else and bang them in.

We need to get behind the lads rather than pulling them apart, im sure the players in question need a morale boost not a public scapegoating for missing a few chances in "yes can you believe it 1 game" im sure in another game we will create less chances and score more goals.

    Keep the faith.

well... there has been more "outs" than "ins"

and reports seem to indicate that players weren't offered massive increases upon promotion in there new contracts.

so, I would be inclined to think there is availability to increase the squad...

after all, they keep saying they are still actively looking etc.

don't think that you can leave hayes out. he is a quality player. not sure about richards, have not seen him play well. depends on how ritchie wants to play. are we going for a target man approach or not?? i say no. much better to pass through midfield in my opinion - looks better and should be easier as not playing long balls = difficult to be accurate.
