writing from sky+ to dvd

    Connect recordable DVD machine up in same way you would a video and then playback whilst recording.

    Anyone know of a decent multi region recordable DVD player - under £150 if poss?

    NOT multiregion out of the box but can be made so using the remote control.
    Also, if you sign up to the Lite-ON forum, you'll find plenty of other goodies, such as Macrovision removal.

    It's fine.
    Just one thing re. Macrovision - is the output signal from a Sky+ box protected? If you have succesfully recorded to VCR without the brightness going mental then no it isn't. Otherwise that could be a potential pitfall.

    Recorded ok to VCR.

    I think macrovision is only on the PPV channels.
