BARNSLEY starlet Nicky Wroe has stoked up the flames ahead of Saturday's local derby with Doncaster Rovers by insisting the Reds will be looking for revenge after last season's embarrassing defeats. Nicky said: "The Doncaster game is massive - there's no other way of putting it. They turned us over twice last season and there was a bit of bad feeling between the clubs all year. Everybody will be really, really fired up for the game and we want all three points. "Everybody in the dressing room wants revenge for those two defeats last season and that has brought us all together. You will see our desire to win the game on Saturday. <"There is no danger of hyping the game up too much because everybody here at Oakwell just cannot wait to get at Doncaster. Everyone is up for it and everyone wants to win especially after last season. "We want to get out of the blocks quickly and put Doncaster right on the back foot from the very first whistle. We want that early goal to put the pressure right on and that first challenge out there will be massive. That first tackle anywhere on the pitch will set the tone and it is a really important one to win" (battered)
All sounds great... let's hope Ritchie manages to get the players to channel their feelings in the right way. Otherwise we'll end up getting drubbed
"There is no danger of hyping the game up too much" That's because it's impossible to do that - you cannot "over hype" or "hype something too much" because by definition Hype- 1.Excessive publicity and the ensuing commotion. 2.Exaggerated or extravagant claims made especially in advertising or promotional material. So if you hype something it means that is exaggerated or excessive above what it really is - so how do you over hype?!
