Having a think about WSB beyond this season (yeah, you're stuck with my **** coats on the corner for a while longer yet)

Would anyone be arsed with a digital copy? Vote here http://www.weststandbogs.co.uk/wsb-digital-copies/ and then we can have a look ready for August.

    Cheers and that.

I went for no I prefer printed. I like the old school fanzine feel of holding a copy in your hands to read. Digital is too modern for a fanzine. Alot of fanzines have died out because of the internet age, so i'd be against it.

Voted for printed. But I'm not arsed to be fair. In fact, I'd probably have both.

Although it would probably save a load of money in printing costs by doing it online, I fear that by doing so exclusively you'd lose more in terms of losing footfall* purchases, and you'd be limiting yourself to folk on here.

    * for want of a better word.
    ** You know what I mean...I hope.

Whereas i'm digital. Personally, i'm more likely to buy summat in digital format, than physical. I have enough $hit in my house as it is. Systematically trying to create a paperless environment.

Totally understand i'm in a minority though, and the vast majority of Barnsley fans still want things on papyrus scrolls..

And this is why I'm thinking of offering both - still have the paper mag but then offer digital as well.

    Cheers lads.

Are you ambitious enough to give it the extra "bonus" digital content like you get with some of the proper magazines now?

Dunno yet mate, I don't think I'd want to chuck anything else in as I want print to be our main source - doing that doesn't really get that across.

It also depends on the amount of extra graft for our designer - he does **** loads for nowt so to add in another 60 pages might not go down too well!!

I've voted yes for digital Dyson. But would still subscribe to a paper version if that is the preference. Still read the old S Riding downloads from this forum.

Printed for me Dys. Only got my phone so digital wouldn't be great. For me like. I also read it in bath and digital devices and water don't mix too well.

If it was purely digital I probably wouldn't bother, not keen on reading things on screen. If it was both I'd just continue to buy the paper version.
