    We've had these before. it will be either a bomb casing or the projectile which were cast at the now gone David Brown Foundry. They crop up all the time. There won't be any explosives in the casing, but the look on the workman's face must be a picture when they dig one up. Last one was dug up when excavating the old foundry for houses.
