I'm looking for a bit of help regarding the X Box 360...
I decided I want one for christmas, and I'm wanting help making sure I get the best deal and get everything I need.
Firstly, anyone know decent sites (where they are in stock!) for a good price?
Secondly, I want to be able to play X Box live (but I don't have a wireless router close enough to connect it with an ethernet cable), therefore what would I need to make it wireless enabled and how much would it cost?
I think that's all for now.
Cheers y'all

Thrappo, Look around - nearly everywhere is doing great deals on the 360. Argos, Amazon etc etc. With regards to going wireless, here's what you'll need: 1 Wireless router and dongle. Plug this into your phone line and PC and share your internet connection, so Xbox live can pick it up. 1 Wireless bridge - Xbox do one of these, over priced though. Xbox.com has some good information on different networks and connections available. There's also this: http://www.xboxlivetheguide.co.uk/
Well we have a router in the kitchen, but the X Box would be set up in my garage (it's been converted).
So with the dongle should it be able to pick up the signal or is the signal usually quite limited? For the record, I can use my PC wirelessly out there, would it have the same capacity to pick up the signal?
I was told to get it wirelessly it may be around £70...sound about right? Didn't really want to pay that much, but I don't want to have to play on my tod all the time!

I liked the word 'dongle' so much, I ended up buying 2. The fact that I lost the first one is merely coincidence.
Be careful no-on walks in on the act Just like that poor bike - fecking weirdo
What sort of hats are we talking anyway? If you have sex with male hats does it make you gay?

It wasn't related in any way TM, but I'm glad you picked me up on it. I know it was Paul Young, as that was my first experience of the 'erection section' of the school disco. With Virginia Gales - You couldn't make it up. That's when I decided maybe hats were the way forward.
Sorry back to the point re X-Box 360 I have it on reasonable authority that the X-Box was invented for dog bummers.
Maybe I shouldn't get one then I'm not a dog lover, generally can't stand the Barstewards (and I don't mean in terms of loving em).
Speaking of dogs though and such like...where the **** is the dog hating TFP? He's been missing for ages...well absent from the board, which less face it, is the most important thing in 98% of members' lives

Gamestation do some good deals. But they aren't always the same deals in the shop to on the web. Also, you can buy an official xbox wireless thing for about 40-50 quid. P.S Spend a bit extra and get the elite.
RE: Gamestation do some good deals. What makes the elite worthwhile? (Haven't looked into it or owt, just curious)
