but I simply don't get it. What is the attraction? In fact what's it about? How many real talents has the High Waisted one really discovered through his 'talent spotting' programmes?
Until someone comes up with a more entertaining show where stuck with it, last nights show were poor all that crying over a song ?
It's cheap, it's easy to make & the masses, for some reason, love it so we're stuck with it until someone comes up with another idea to flog to death.
That and Strictly Come Dancing and I'm a Celebrity and Big Brother and...... Still, they seem to attract the viewers and there are plenty other channels to watch
But I understand Strictly well except for the sometimes eccentric voting I can see the improvement in the celebs learning a new and difficult skill But the rest.... complete mystery to me
Just because you don't like something and others do, does not make them"morons" as you so kindly put it.
I'll admit to anyone that I enjoy it. For those in it, their point is that one of them will win a few quid and a bit of exposure for a few weeks. For the people watching, the point is that it is harmless entertainment. It's something that we can all enjoy watching in the family - and there's not many progs you can say that about, so what's the harm. If you don't like it - watch something else - it's not compulsory.
RE: But I understand Strictly Why the BBC insisting that someone leaving Strictly is bloody news though - 1st or 2nd story one day last week....blatant advertising from them for one of their shows during the news!
Im moronic to a point I watch the early auditions when they let all the nutters on. I think thats worth watching for the comedy value.
Also made the front page of all the tabloids as well to be fair to the BBC, only reporting the same news as everyone else that day. See your point though
biggest sack of crap on TV and IMHO "sickly" takes some beating. It is a sad indictment of the British public that they get sucked in by 4th rate, prime time, cheap excuses.
I know, the new generation hey? They should spend their Saturday nights watching re-runs of Rising Damp and Drop the Dead Donkey shouldn't they? Wind your neck in slightly with your over generalisation of the people that watch those programmes.
Did you also know that you are: "a sad indictment of the British public that gets sucked in by 4th rate, prime time, cheap excuses" quote Spartacus, 23.11.08
touch a nerve did I? Its utter garbage. Re runs of on the fecking buses in black and white or the test card would be a better use of the broadcast time. Maybe some original, challenging programming is too much to ask for....
Not really, only watch it to see what outfit Cheryl is wearing then switch off But the amount of generalisations on this site lately is ridiculous. You can't accuse over 10 million people of something just because it's not your cup of tea, that's unfair and completely short sighted.
