I HATE them, loathe them, despise them! Why is it, you plug 'em in to check that they work, spend ages wrapping 'em carefully round the tree and then you plug them back in to find the chuffing things won't light up??

It might be a mans job to do the electrics, but the artistry of a xmas tree is a womans job :pff

Just let my kids do ours. they absolutely insisted.
I'd have made a better job by taking them out the box and chucking them at the sodding tree.

Making a big deal out of nowt and making sure they get noticed...Christmas definitely is a womens thing then!

Maybe you should leave the lights to your husband and get yourself back into the kitchen for now, love. :pff

He chose the kitchen to avoid my temper tantrum. The cat and dog were hung up by the lights so I reckon he thought he was next.

Once again...typical female! Losing their temper over nothing.

You never see us blokes losing it, we're always calm and composed. Oh aye.
