y is GS so tite when it come to transfer Kitty

same conversations are going to keep occuring on here day after day, why the HELL wont GS dip his hand in his pocket and spare a few quid to get a few decent players in? i mean wot would 100k hurt to get a decent player in like Leon Knight, if not Fans are going to keep well away from oakwell if nothing is done. i really like AR but if things dont improve fast fans will becalling his nae within the next 4-5 Home Games

No point in GS throwing any money into a transfer kitty at the moment, because it will do no good..... We can't buy players till Jan!!!!
Serious though, doubt much will be thrown in Jan unless we get someone coming on board in the form of Director, etc. Cryne already have his offer of money thrown back in his face

 

just been thinkin, who in there rite mind would want to sign for Barnsley on a permanent basis, i mean everyone rejects coming to us on loan so what chances do we have on signing anyone on permanent deal.on our poxy wages . !THINK!

 

£100k....

 up front for a player like that doesn't sound much. But when you consider our highest earners is rumoured to be Reidy on £1500 p/w, work that out over 12 months in wages = £78k. Players dont tend to come on one year contracts so you are then talking at least 2 years = £156k, add the £100k transfer fee = £256k. Once you have finished with signing on fees and bonuses, the £100k suddenly becomes £300k. Quite a lot for a player like him then.

 

I suspect you need more than a new keyboard chris.
