Dunwich fish chips /Suffolk on the beach day boats bring fresh fish in , cooked in hours after being caught . The best
That the one on the main road through (or what was the main road before the bypass)? Just down from Brooklands.
They're OK Sampled on an almost weekly basis. Never had better than Dodworth High Street though in t'tarn.
Spring Grove - Kirkburton Plus it's in such a dangerous place, you have to be quick on your feet, not to get run over. Went to Kingfishers in Wakey on monday night and the fish was offensively small for 2.50.
RE: The gate. Is that it? Ok....was going to say....I called there when I was coming home from Manchester Airport having been away, and it was ok but didn't think particularly spectacular. So where is Shaw's in relation to that then? Best takeaway fish and chips I've had was from a chippy in Greetland near Halifax
Shaw's coming from silkstone over the railway crossing, turn right (straight ahead in fact and not down the hill) onto High Street. Shaw's is about 100yds down on the RHS before the crossroads, opposite the station pub / dodworth club on the junction of Baslow crescent.
Cheers I think I know the turn you mean, it's a 90 degree-ish left for the main road isn't it.....I'll give it a try sometime.
RE: Indeed, sorry! yes they are, especially pointing out that the left turn is more like straight ahead which always throws people.
