After having no broadband for nearly a week! Oh what a wonderful time to be a Barnsley fan. The sheer joy of the performance & result against a very good Walsall team on Saturday evening will live long in the memory. Every single player giving everything they've got for the cause. An unforgettable atmosphere created by appreciative fans, what more could you want? At one point there were tears running down my face because of it. "Drink it in, savour it. These days are very few and far between", I kept telling myself. This is what being a football fan is all about. This is why you go through the utter tripe which is sometimes dished up. At the end of the match, Jay & I threw our arms round each other in a huge, gay, bear hug and I LOVED IT!
Did you miss the email..... it was all a big hoax... we haven't played walsall yet... you can't rely on newspapers anymore...
Are you going to the beam back? That's where you can watch the second leg live in the ponty on a big telly!!
No disrespect to Jay but I bet the hugs I got were better than your effort http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?243615-The-greatest-couple-of-minutes-of-your-life
Well, even if it meant nothing to Jay, it certainly meant a great deal to me. I definitely wrap my legs around him if there's a next time, just like the young lady did with you, old mate.
