Yorkshire are rapidly becoming the Manchester United of the cricket world (well, what they USED to be anyway). Everybody wants to play for them. Is he any good though? Would be hard pressed to get into that team at the moment.

I'm off to Headingley this afternoon for the T20 against Northants. Can't wait! Like football, because of my lifelong exile from the county, I have missed far too many matches. Saw every home game at Oakwell last season (oh what a joy ) and planning on taking in as much cricket as I can this summer.

The 7 match T20 season ticket looks a bargain. £70 instead of paying match day prices of £22 and more. Might just grab one of those when I get there. I KNOW T20 isn't "proper cricket" but I am looking forward to it anyway. Hope to get to some 4 day games as well

He was interviewed on radio five this morning and this was brought up. He reckons he's a pretty good cricketer so good luck to him.
