Obviously your "support a Yorkshire team at all costs" principle (ref: Sheff United) doesn't stretch to an application to the north - south divide. What about a head count of English players before we take sides in the cup final? (and I haven't counted who wins on this criteria)
RE: yes it stretchs to the northern teams except Manc ones nt I have more of an aversion to scousers myself. Just because they think they're funny when they aren't. My own personal experience of this comes from being on the kop when we drew there in the eighties. No humour there at all. Perhaps it was due to there being more of us there than them (by half time).
No - you obviously have to check with Dragon Tyke before deciding who you want to win a game Any Yorkshire side. Any "Northern" side (hoping he can define a boundary here as I wouldn't want to get mistaken) - oh but not if they are from Manchester!
