Sending off for nothing - what was that all about.

Penalty? Thanks but it never was.

Today, having seen the Football League show I need to bake myself some humble pie and eat large portions of it.

The off the ball elbow was a brilliant spot because the game had run on a fair bit and it wasn't obvious.

The penalty was definite, keeper slid in and took Hourihanes legs, had he not then Connor could have kept going and got to the ball.

So, well done, very well reffed.

I definitely saw him throw an arm for the sending off, my mates were baffled as to what had happened but perhaps they were a bit more up with play than I was!
