All my troubles seemed so far away. The whole weekend, and particularly yesterday's atmosphere, went a long way to show what a beautiful, simple and uniting sport football can be. Players from both clubs seizing an opportunity, supporters out to enjoy it, a great game for the neutral. I think football supporters have had enough of being patronised by the authorities over a number of years. There's always a minority of bad uns at every club, but everyone from the door/bar staff at JJ Moons to the stewards outside and inside Wembley Stadium set an example, in my opinion of course, as to how to treat the paying supporter and by and large got the same in return. Total respect all round. There was a honesty about the day yesterday. Something that I thought had escaped the game in an era of greed. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
Great little summary. Just a lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Like you say, it felt honest. Everything (pretty much) seemed decent and honest. Even the game was played in that manner. I'm dreaming of a playoff final against Bradford. I want more of yesterday.
Top post. Honesty. Genuine down to earth fans. No bad feeling. Respect. Smiles. Great stewarding. One of the best days of my life.
