We've been away for a few days break at my son's. We lost 5-3 at Cardiff. Last year, we went for a short break at the same time of year to the Vale Of York and we lost 3-0 at Coventry. Two years ago, at the same time, we had a holiday in North Yorkshire and lost 3-2 against Bristol City, followed by a 2-0 cup defeat by Manchester United. Five years ago at the same time, we had a holiday at Center Parcs and we lost 2-0 at Sunderland.
It wasn't the fault of Keith Hill, it wasn't the fault of the team selection, it wasn't the fault of the team performance, it wasn't the fault of any of the players, it was my fault. There will be no more October breaks for the Big Lils in the future!

Flattering yourself a bit there, aren't you flower?

Still no more holidays for you apart from international break and the tiny window between end of term and the start of a new season. So it's a day trip to Brid and it will probably rain.

Not really mate, I'm a definite bad luck omen!:D
Anyway, I'm trying to pick a holiday for next year in the small gap between between Laura finishing her 'A' Levels and when I go on another archaeological dig. That one day in Brid is sounding very tempting!!:D

take a look at the Orkney Islands mate....seriously

been there a couple of times. Being that you are now the Indiana Jones of Dodworth you would love it. Lots of ancient archeological sites. The weather is not that bad either. The main Town of Kirkwall is wonderful also the ferry place Stromness is very nice too. An unusual call maybe but well worth a trip matey.

I'd absolutely love to visit places like Maes Howe & Skara Brae, old mate, and possibly get an opportunity to do some work there. Whether I could convince The Boss that it'd be a good holiday for us is another matter!!:D

    I'll do my best!
There's a chance I might be going on a dig at The Somme, so I don't want to push it for the family holiday to have an archaeological side to it, too.

why not do a dig in the wendy's trophy room. Its not far to travel and if you find owt it'll be really ancient and worth loads.
