    Was correct.

Boggy did absolutely nothing in that game. The lad can play and finish but a winger he isn't and his whole body langauge throughout that game said 'I don't fancy this one'. Some of his crossing incidently was shocking.

But for a Muller blunder, people on here - including non Davey fans - would have conceded that Davy had got it tactically correct. Success and failure, thin dividing line and all that...............

I'm not sure I can take that seriously. Boggy has shown himself to be a goal scoring centre forward (a rare commodity on the books at B.F.C.) and has never pretended to be a winger. Despite that he has been played out of position, and shown great endeavor - he came tackling back and worked extremely hard. I didn't expect him to show us much on the wing, he needs to be in the box. Instead we persist with Mifsud who has really shown little or nothing since he has arrived. Big man who is not very good at crossing, trying to cross to a little man. Where did we get these tactics from?

Hammil comes on, Mifsud goes off, Boggy goes to centre forward. Both wingers push on and we start hitting them (Boggy and Macken) with crosses from both flanks. How much more appealing does that sound?

The substitution was a shocker for me.

That may be but Bogdanovic himself says hes a central attacker

and from the evidence I've seen with my own eyes I tend to agree with him.

Malta dont score many goals either !!!!!!!

Just because he has played there does not make him a winger. If Davey wants to play with a right winger then whats up with the players that actually play as wingers ie, JCR, Hammill, Devaney.
    Bizarre tactics .

    Not disagreeing....

I also think he's potentially the best centre fwd/striker we have and he should be used in that position. His goals to games ratio already proves that.

I suspect Malta use Bogdanovic as a winger because they're so weak at international level that playing with more than one man up front is asking for a hiding.

Their first priority, I'd guess, is to keep the score down. If it's the same with us, then we're fooked.
