Not seen the tackle before this - difficult to judge from this picture if it was dangerous or not. Seems to have split media/ fans down the middle
1) Two footed. 2) Studs showing. 3) Feet off the ground. He had to be sent off. Not sure why he felt the need to lunge in the way he did anyway.
totally agree, wasnt not a foul , yellow harsh, red pathetic. if it was so bad Nani the biggest **** in the premiership would of been moaning or rolling around in agony. Shrek got him sent off or at last helped.
People who think that was a red card haven't played football themselves! By the rule book I guess it may have been but sometimes in football common sense is needed, it wasn't dangerous, it was a great tackle! What is football coming to if you can't make a challenge like that!
Red card all day long Under current rules/guidelines to refs. Both feet off the floor - he's not in control, had he connected with Nani - broken leg.
Re: Red card all day long He was in total control, he did not touch the player and took the ball, perfect tackle, yet it is now a sending off offence, just like the sliding tackle.
Yet Frank Lampards on Hammill was ok was it? He won the ball and until Shrek started chelping the ref wasn't gunna do owt. Watch Nani's reaction or rather none reaction. Man City are appealing it but will lose it based on the Wolves guys "tackle" against Arsenal.
He did not hurdle him, he was in front of him, Nani was behind him, I could not give a frig what you say next because I have given up on trying to believe you are anything other than a wind up, nothing more nothing less.
