Didn't see it close enough to know if it was special edition for the day (respect if it was) but from the stands it looked like a training kit.
I'd be happy with that colour scheme next season for the away kit though, I thought it looked pretty smart.
Ben told us they could have wore the home shirt but went with that one off shirt so as to auction them off for the charities.
I've always wanted a season where we play in all red with white trim at home & the reverse all white with red trim away!
They were suppose to be doing this with the kit they played in at Burnley other season but ended up flogging them at the open day so may be a case of if you want one get down there early. Sure they were only £15 as well
We did one year mate in the 80s , the one that had Lyons Cakes on it.. But guess what, a lot of fans moaned... they don't like changed much rarnd here
Yea I bought a Tom Kennedy and Ben Alnwick shirt at open day, saving them for my pension fund. Kennedy will be a Reds legend when I'm an oap and shirt will be worth fthousands
We did that in the 80''s. Too much like Liverpool for my liking...our colours are red shirt, white shorts.
I thought he just meant the shirt. I'd want: Home - red shirt with white trim, white shorts with red trim, red socks with white trim. Away - white shirt with red trim, red shorts with white trim, white socks with red trim. Black/yellow 3rd kit for emergencies.
