one of my mates who goes to most away games just been moaning to me that the club isnt taking into account ticket stubs for any away game, do people think the clubs done it rite how they are doing to category's or should they have done something to reward the main loyal fans who go to most of the away games not just the cup matches

no, the club should only take into account home stubs, you know the ones that help the club by earning them money. Why encourage people to go to other grounds and help put money in their pockets. Thats why we've usually got sod all, probably most of them that go to away games don't go to Oakwell, I know quite a few.....

If he gets his away tickets from the club dont the club get 5% of away ticket sales and a good percentage on away cup tickets.

Some sections of fans have been left out so not perfect from the club but a step in the right direction.

They're were quite a few saying just that at beginning of season in fact there were a couple stated on this board that it was they're intention to go to away games and not home games.
Probably the same ones that's trying to stop the under twelves having a ticket so they at get one.

Point is what about those who travelled the country seeing Championship games?

Run salt into the wounds, the cup games lot cheaper than league

But why would you trvell the country and not have a season ticket? That's how you support a team vociferously and financially.
Its no good giving other teams your money tbh shouting for the reds then sit in a pub fr home gmes

point i was trying to make at the start was one of my mates whos a season ticket holder and he been to 10 away games this season and 1 cup game and he was trying to make a point saying the club should give 1st priority to people with more stubs in total not just the people whos just been to the cup games

Yes but if he gets a season ticket, or goes to a larger percentage of home games the club gets more money

Of course but he may have put more in club coffers than someone in front of him in the peckin order for tickets, that may be his gripe.

but on that basis surely a season ticket holder automatically has 23 stubs.....regardless of how many away or cup games they have been to

No matter what the club do there'll always be somebody who isn't happy. Perhaps it should be
Day 1, season ticket holders with stubs from every away game
Day 2, non-season tickets with stubs from every game home and away
Day 3, season ticket holders with stubs from all but 1 away game
    etc etc

They are trying to make it fair but the main priority for the club is to manage to manage the queues at the ticket office while selling the tickets within 2 or 3 weeks.

I know someone who is a Liverpool season ticket holder and for them when they were in League Cup final they had to have been to all the games in the cup and even then he still ended up in a ballot for tickets
