Guy is a Barnsley player. He has a choice to buckle down and do well or drop off the radar. Why on earth we'd let him go on loan rather than permanent sale I've no idea. We bend over backwards to take the risk off the buyer, same as Winnall with all the performance related clauses. We really need to wise up.

Think it's a win win situation for us.Its in his interests to play well when he gets the chance and I reckon he's still the best left back on our books so happy days.

I started to want the transfer to go through mainly due to the fact it seemed so obvious Yiadom wanted out and as long as the price was reasonable, it seemed like the sensible option to take. But he's staying for now and the positive is that he'll have to play well to retain Premier League interest. For us, having him as well as McCarthy and Cavare plus an improving Pearson offers a decent set of options for Hecky. A pretty strong back four could be selected going forward.

Why on earth would we loan a super rich premier league team a player?

Glad he's still with us. Brilliant player. Let's get him playing & signing a new contract.

if they hadnt faffed about with a poor first bid maybe they woudl have gotten in thru in time (if this was the case as reported).

I expect a loan deal was proposed as it's the quickest way to get a deal done. A fee to be paid in January would have been agreed in principle.

Mmm thats thrown a spanner in to the works....an interesting one at that
I wonder who or which side didnt complete their side of the paper work in time...that now throws up some awkward questions and no doubt some interesting outcomes

He failed his medical at Huddersfield over a slight fracture in his spine a fracture that PH has gone on record saying doesnt effect his game however he is classed as injured and yet swansea were prepared to take him on board
So where does that leave us and Andy Yiadon....is AY now going to refuse to play until the fracture heals, guess hed be in his rights to do so
or will he now want to play which would create problems for PH knowing that in jan AY could be off and upset the balance of what hopefully will be a settled team, or with new owners expected to be coming in will he hang around if he thinks there is the possibility of promotion in the air or will the club freeze him out knowing hes cost them money...oh to be a fly on the wall in the board room of oakwell these days ...a french speaking one at that lol

There's only the fly on the wall left.
