got a start and played the full 90 the other night against Egypt. Ghana qualified and now face Congo in the quarter finals... I hope they go onto win it and Yiadom features more in these latter stages. We will benefit for this IMHO...not only in Yiadoms confidence and international status , but in the future should he be sold on. Oh and also this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Yiadom that's for the we hate lower league crap people. Look at where the lad has been and how he has blossomed. We have had turmoil this last week or so with ins and outs... but we really should trust in Hecky and his team... he is performing minor miracles for us.
Really want Andy to do well but I'd be more than happy for him to not get a game on Sunday and for Ghana to get knocked out. I say that having watched a few of the games and the only thing that's really been noticeable is the abject state of the pitches. We really can't afford Yids to get injured. http://www.eveyo.com/newsnow/advt.php?blurb=235107 &t=AFCON 2017; Poor pitches causing injuries Sunday's game is on one of the worst ones in Oyem.
yes its a risk...however I still want Ghana to go all the way and Yiadom play a big part in their success... the risk for us is him getting a bad injury... but then again if he gains a winners medal and shines then the benefits for us are superb... not just the fact that we have a confident and more valuable player...but the fact that he came to Barnsley and went on to become a winner on a big stage.
Play like they have in the last 3 games and I can see Yids bring available for selection on Tuesday night against Wolves. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
