...but that was only after having to blackmail the owner of the company - we've got something over him and he's feeling guilty about it, lol. Been trying to book for mates on other busses, turns out there's 45 so just as well book our own - and it can pick me up by the front door! Was going to go by rail but it's a nightmare for us - Severn Tunnel is closed for maintainance that weekend! Just queued up to renew my s/t so I can get another ticket(3 in total). Job done, happy days. Someone else is doing the queueing for me for tickets next Sunday as payback for the times I've done it - a monotonous, long, long day - and they're getting 45 seats together. Good luck to them! Know whereabouts we're going to be stopping pre-match in North london-ish so if anyone wants to come and have the craic, share a pint - not literally of course, I'd be more than happy to let you know where by pm (not on here for obvious reasons).
Weve been trying for days. Finally got one today. We dont live in Barnsley but most of us wanting to travel are regular fans or season ticket holders. Our area isnt full of regulars yet most local coach firms are booked up despite the tickets not yet being on sale.
It's been sheer hard work. We've been booked on other busses in dribs and drabs but decided to run our own. Coz we wanna be together. Ahhhh. We're about 12 miles from Cardiff and theres now 9 busses leaving via my village that I know of - crazy. Only managed to get this bus because the owner sponsors our local rugby side and put tickets he gets via his sponsorship up on ebay (it's illegal in football but not rugby) for the Wales/France game tomorrow. Big guilt-trip put on him. Lots of coach companies won't take football fans and the situation is worsened because the Ospreys are playing Saracens in some European rugger cup that day and have booked their coaches ages ago.
Ours go on sale a week on Sunday (23/3) Its 2 per ambassador (if you bought a s/t early last year). You can get an additional one if you renew your s/t before next friday. We had around 8500 ambassadors last year. There is 1 ticket available per s/t holder, with around 1000 of these. If they renew now, they become an ambassador. New s/t buyers are entitled to 1 ticket. Tickets are then available to members (who pay an annual subscription (was £30, think it's £10 now) to get a chance of big-game tix) and I understand theres 20k+ of these. Apparently, and there was enough evidence when I renewed mine today, the ambassador tickets for next season are flying out - so that's 3 for me!
