I caught the last 10 mins and actually said ‘get in’ when Wales equalised. Because I enjoy the other home nations doing well. Particularly when they’re full of English players. I look forward to them mocking us for losing in the World Cup final next year, on pens.
I wonder what it's like to support your national team when half the players representing you have qualified to play because they have a granddad whose mate once got lost on the way to Chester and ended up in Prestatyn. Only for the day mind.
Well I hope the Welsh F.A have shown due dilligence. You'd hate to not qualify on a technicality. You can't lose in the final if you don't qualify.
This questioning the nationality of players is not confined to just football. Eg The England cricket team. (Over decades) Some of our Best players were born and grew up in other countries. Yorkshire's policy of Yorkshire born only, had to be abandoned. Or its unlikely we would be able to compete. (Saying that, the situation has not been great for a while. regardless). Where do you draw the line. Eg Raheem Stirling
First one I could think of off the top of my head lol. I barely know any of the players over the last couple of decades.
Lighten up. I love Wales. Ive holidayed there that often that Bellamy tried to get me to play left back.
