The club must be dreading this game. They will only open the East Stand. As a Ponty S/t holder I dislike sitting there. Others may feel the same. We will have to pay to attend, all be it a token amount. But coming up to Xmas it is still a drain. The competition itself is not exactly a big draw. With the football being offered and the general apathy around the club, what will the attendance be? It could be a real eye opener as to supporter feelings.
Can't we move it to Bootham Crescent? Might be our last chance to play there before they move to the soulless out of town stadium they're about to start building. Plus I could walk to the match then
If we continue to follow this strategy I'd say closer to 3000 - about when some of our current squad reach puberty.
Always liked games against York. Associate them with freezing afternoons on the Bootham terraces, and a guaranteed away win. George Hamstead's corners, Big Winnie's headers. Are they injured or something?
if they played it in my front garden, I would shut the curtains. No chance, not getting another fooking penny out of me until LJ, TW and BM fek right off P.S. and that goes for the fa cup game n all The line has been drawn and I can tell you summat else n all... BFC ain't getting no season ticket money next year either if this ain't sorted out......he can call me, serenade me or come round on a horse drawn carriage if he likes....he can still ballax hth
