What a good night! Sir Tom was in majestic form. He is truly a world class act. It was like a mini-Glastonbury. Hmm! I'm there on the Wednesday (Judmonte International) and Thursday (Yorkshire Oaks) Mr Reev. Hopefully we should see the Derby winner Golden Horn on the Wednesday after missing today's engagement due to the going. I've always found the Nunthorpe to be a bit of a tricky race. Plus the Friday of the Ebor meeting has fiendish crowds. That said, I think there must have been close on 40,000 there last night for Sir Tom! Orsen will watch from the comfort of the sofa on the Friday and Saturday, methinks.
Going to be there on the Thurs for the Yorks Oaks. Will look out for your tips Mr Kaht, all help gratefully received...
I generally avoid Saturdays at York, Tyke. They tend to have several hundred coachloads of lads from the North East, and the whole thing seems geared around turning the course into the biggest pub in the world!
Give it a couple of days/weeks, and this place will be full of links to sites asking for people to grass Leeds & Barnsley "fans" up, from cctv images, for braying each other in the city centre and on trains back last night.
The Ox would like to extend his personal thanks to master BBS tipster orsenkaht. Full of beer and without any inclination to study the form I lumped on his selections and ended the night swaying along to Sir Tom, champagne glass in hand, and with a bulging pocket sensation.
That's excellent to know, OxRed. You're most welcome, sir. Doesn't always go as well as Friday, but it was certainly some night!
