Durham still adding runs to their lead over Notts too.

Think it's time to bring them in and have a go at getting Lancs all out quickly. Can't afford not towin this one

Weather set fair, I'd just tell them to smash it; bat just once.

id do the same, tell them they've got 45 mins after lunch, see how many they can get... if we lose wickets so be it.

Something wrong with the beeb's live scores page. It keeps refreshing but still says 443-5. Even the scorecard page seems to be stuck.

Try the ECB site. It seems to be working fine:

610-6 declared. Highest ever total by either side in a roses match. Notts two down already vs Durham.

Can't believe that nobody ever refers to the Yorkshire CCC website for an up to date score. There is a virtual scoreboard on the front page and it is almost in real time - only seconds behind in fact. BBC cricket site is always way behind. Go to this site and click on commentary and you get real time commentary as well!

Should do. I think he's had six centuries this season and his highest ever score. He's high up the list of catches too which isn't bad at all when he's not a keeper. Near the top of the batting averages for the division too. It's a shame he keeps being overlooked.

The team is that strong that when Root and Ballance are back for the last two games, Andrew Gale will be pro and drop himself from the team again despite being the captain.

Lyth has just missed out on beating Darren Lehmann's record score against Lancashire. He was being a bit too cautious at the end and holed out when trying to get the record with a boundary. He is the leading run scorer in the county championship this season so MUST be in contention for a call up.

As for Gale, he barely justifies his place with the scores he gets but maybe he is just a good captain. Going to be tricky next week. Kane Williamson will be gone so that lets Ballance in so who drops out for Root? Gale or Leaning must be favourites

Gale should drop himself and play young Leaning who looks another good prospect. Hopefully Bresnan is fit. Plunkett should be back too so maybe something like.......

    1) Adam Lyth.
    2) Alex Lees.
    3) Gary Ballance.
    4) Andrew Gale.
    5) Joe Root.
    6) Jack Leaning.
    7) Tim Bresnan.
    8) Adil Rashid.
    9) Liam Plunkett.
    10) Jack Brooks.
    11) Ryan Sidebottom.

That team would beat international teams. I remember Michael Vaughan saying a few months back that if Yorkshire had their England players they would beat England. I think even if England had Root/Ballance that we'd give them a game in a test match scenario.

Yes that's a frighteningly good line up and no room for Richard Pyrah and Steven Patterson who have both done brilliantly this season. Can't remember Yorkshire being this strong before and it's a shame that the four day form doesn't get replicated in the one day matches. Would have been wonderful to see Yorkshire win everything this season despite being robbed of key players a lot of the time
