I love Test cricket and could easily go and watch all five days of a Test match. Although I look out for Yorkshire's results. The idea of spending four days at Headingley has never interested me for a County Championship game. The Scarborough fixture has some limited appeal though.
as my 60th birthday present my family managed to get me tickets for all 5 days of the England South Africa test at Lord's in 2012. It was a great experience.
I went to day three or four at the Oval next time they toured mate (2017/18). Still got the programme. Rabada was rapid and after they got shut of Westley Bairstow was dropping bombs in his cameo. We had them ear pieces. You had to take them out. I'd hate to get clunked.
So we visit Hampshire then do we, in our first game back as a Championship County team. Well, one away game is as good as any other I suppose lol, if it's not at glorious Headingley.
Hey I'm missing my Yorkie cricket fix at the moment lol, so here's some amazing England memories at a packed out Headingley five years ago. Arise... Sir Ben Stokes.
There are certain moments in sport that you really wish you were there that was one ,I bet the atmosphere was electric. When he hit that four the whole ground went up ,only live sport can bring that mass collective of joy.
Just seen that Shan Masood is currently playing for Hampshire in the global T20 tournament in the West Indies.
