Just noticed that Sidebottom started with a triple wicket maiden!

Middlesex were 0-3 after 1 over.

    Title clinched by tea?

He always looks like he's on fire, well at least his hair does. Great start for the champions to be!

Brooks is getting clattered a bit ..... I can see them reaching 70 if he doesn't buck up his ideas. Bloody southeners.

I can see the ECB changing the rules next year to make it harder for us .......... (aside from using half our squad as test-match-drinks-carriers)

"No team in the top division shall field more than three Yorkshiremen" :)

I'm working about 2 miles from Lord's today, shame I can't sneak off to watch. Good conditions for bowling though it's a pretty dark and cloudy here but doesn't look like rain (touch wood).

    We'd still win the league!
Middlesex are six down already after 90 mins play
Two points bagged. Champions today without a doubt

I'm hoping Yorkshire pile on a record run total, declare at tea on day 3 on 850 for 1, and then bowl them out Friday afternoon followed by a huge on pitch celebration

I'll have my fingers crossed for you. Notts are 6 down. Yorkshire will have the league won by 3:30pm today.

This is all part of my brilliant idea so my mum and dad could visit Lords. Roped some mates in who live in London too. Was a bit nervous about going day 3 rather than 2 but I though Middlesex batting line-up would offer a bit more resistance.

Bright sunshine here now, perfectly timed as we walked out to bat. Come on Yorkshire.
