The article said...... Then you've got the police costs. Main reason i'd not like the idea though is because if you play too many derby matches they become the norm rather than something to look forward to, which ends up watering down the enjoyment of them. We've already too many next season.
Because they're both in Yorkshire. Middlesbrough is in North Yorkshire and Hull is in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
With Middlesborough and Hull (as explained by Jay) that's 12 derby matches next season. I think over a quarter of our games being Yorkshire derbies is a bit overkill.
Yeah, I'd much rather have to travel to places like Bournemouth and Yeovil 12 times a season instead of playing local rivals.
