Yorkshire Dales

I'm currently trying to set a Yorkshire-themed quiz for some friends.

I've tried Google to find out how many Yorkshire Dales there are but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

Does anyone know the answer?

 

try yorkshirenet.co.uk. that lists all of the dales.

 

Unless I'm not looking in the right place, I can only find it listing 7, I think it was. Whilst I don't know the answer, I always thought there were more.

 

Does Worsbrough Dale count?

Good grief! I would never have said that many!! I would have thought that the total would have been nearer to 15-20

just looked at the yorkshire net again and it does not give the exact amount it say's there are over 20 dales altogether.

 

try giving the publisher's of the Dalesman a call.
