First thing to consider is relocation of home ground from headingley to somewhere more accesible for Yorkshire ccc fans.
no need for an inquest, too many batsman not scored runs and not enough bowlers to take wickets outside Sidebottom. A captain is only as good as his team really. Gale has some good players who for a variety of reasons haven't performed consistently with the exception of Bairstow and Sidebottom. Lyth has had a tough season after scoring so many runs last year, Rashid seems to be struggling after being ****ed around by England.
headingley on matchday is pretty awfull to get to. should be somewhere at least with direct train access.
You can get the train to either Headingley or Burley train station from Leeds City train station. Either one leaves a 5-10 minute walk to the ground, depending on which side you need to get to.
, Yorkshire decided to leave Headingley and build a ground on the M1 outside Wakefield. Good money was spent on the proposed move before anyone realised the implications of the Headingley lease still having 80 years to run. Faced with the prospect of playing at Wakefield and paying rent in Leeds, they abandoned the idea of a new ground. This should have happened but they were held to ransom by the old farts. went to a 20/20 a couple of years ago absolute nightmare trying to get to headingley. never again just watch em on telly now, shame though just go to shaw lane now.
Headingley (and Burley) train station is 5 min walk away. How much more accessibly can you get by train? Or do you mean direct from wherever you come from, cause unfortunately we all live in different places. It is direct for me to Headingley, only about 6 stops, 30 mins.
"i'm alright jack" thats why the club are going down hill as long as the traditionalists are ok sod everybody else.
