Shocking form especially with the bat.

Taking out Ballance for the most of the Summer a massive blow.

Lyth and Lees have done nowt this season.Handscome disappointing .

I wonder if losing Gillespie is the major factor in our poor run. The good times are fading into memory. At this rate we will be looking at relegation.

I considered going over today to watch the last day but the result looked a foregone conclusion last night so I didn't bother. Good decision...

The most boring sport in the World. Should be banned from a football site

So why reply to a post about cricket?, and Yorkshire cricket to boot.
You consider it boring, probably as you don't understand the nuances.
I find football the most boring game to watch. Ball out of play, throw-ins, fouls, off-sides, nil nil draws, loads of games with few shots on goal etc.
Rugby union then cricket then football for me.

Yes don't think they expected ballance to get back in the england team. Root, Bairstow and Plunkett too in the one day side. Perhaps they should have looked to get a couple more experienced decent pros in pre-season to help along the youngsters.
By the way, it's terribly boring this cricket. Root on 177 and possibly able to make a double ton within one days test cricket... zzzzzzzz

I know this might seem a really random post to you then, but this is a FOOTBALL forum, so what are you doing on here? Plenty of Rugby and cricket forums to post about your boring stuff !

I post on here because i have been going to oakwell since 1976. And over the following 20 years or so rarely missed a match home and away. After that less so as a consequence of work commitments. Up until the late 90s i guess football was my favoured sport to watch. My preferences have clearly changed with age.
