Yorkshire Press Awards last night in Leeds.

Generally a good night had by all (most anyway) with after dinner talk by Sir Bernard Ingham.....who was very good indeed, which surprised a few!
Anyway, congrats go to all the winners, which included Barnsley Chronicle's David Knight who won the Weekly News Reporter of the Year....and ME! I managed to grab the Weekly Photographer of the Year award.....Big pat on the back for me...I thank you.

Ya not that far off the mark.

In the past, the Yorkshire Post and the Yorkshire Evening Post have taken up a large slice of the awards, and so has the Hull Daily Mail for that matter. But a few more catergories were added this year, which not only gave weekly staffers a fighting chance, but also increased the overall amount of entries.
I've won stuff in the past, but this one is on my own turf....well chuffed.

No idea for the first one, although I suspect his name may have been Lucan. And as for the second one, my ectoplasmic mates must be pissed off with me for some reason....not managed to snap anything since that fatefull day in Outwood.
