1st v 2nd. A win in this one can give us some real momentum for retaining the title.

Durham won toss and decided to bowl. 38-0.

I think I'd have batted first. 41-0 now.

It was overcast at toss, bit of green on wicket. Cleared now, perfect batting conditions.

Jonny Bairstow and Aaron Finch together. Hope they don't play like it is a T20 game. Need to get their heads down. 100 partnership would be nice

Me and my big mouth - Finch gone for 10.

Tell you what - I don't know what we are paying him this season but it is too much. I'd get rid of him if I were Jason. He's just not delivering in either format of the game.

Maybe we should not bother with these expensive foreign players, got enough good players of our own.

The underwhelming output from Finch and Maxwell suggests to me that they have wasted a lot of money this season on signing them. Shame we couldn't get Kane Williamson back in (or is he coming back now NZ have finished here?)

The two Aussies are fantastic to watch WHEN they get their form going but we can't afford to wait to see it.

Thought I heard mention Williamson was coming back. Not sure which of the Aussies he'll replace.

Be nice if he did - definitely a world class batting talent. Maxwell has been marginally better than Finch due to his bowling. They are both great players, no doubt about that, but they seem to be short changing us at the moment. Maybe Finch hasn't recovered properly from his injury yet?

300 up for six Bairstow 89 and Bressie 50 odd, hope I don't wreck it, but looking decent now. Wickets fell when cloud cover came over

Yorkshireccc: And that is close: Yorks end the day on top with 329-6 from 96 overs. Bairstow 102 and Bresnan 66

    Good comeback
