A good win. Had a double of Chennai Super Kings at evens and Yorkshire at 6/5 in the 20/20 matches. We might actually do something in that competition for a change. Ridiculous a county of our stature has only reached one finals day.
I think the Finch and Maxwell are intended to fix that. We just haven't hit enough 6s and 4s in past years
We might not see him at all. Expected end of May but was ruled out for 3 months near the end of April after an injury. I don't think we will see much in T20 if anything.
I think he's meant to be recovering well and hoping to be here in a few weeks. Might make last few games.
Start of June he arrives here to continue his rehab. Hopefully towards the end of June he will be ready.
I've got my T20 season ticket again and am really looking forward to seeing them through to the final this year. The prospect of being at Headingley and seeing Maxwell and Finch at the crease together is just incredible. Maxwell smashed a couple of massive sixes at Trent Bridge last night so it will be crash helmets time for the crowd if they both get going! Can't wait for the next home game - Lancashire Friday 5th June which must be a sell out by now. When I picked up my T20 ticket last week there were only limited view tickets left for the Lancashire game. I'm under the roof at the rugby stand end with restricted views of the left and right boundaries! Ah well, maybe some won't turn up and I can move!
