It's the Gillespie Effect. No defeats in his first year, two in the next and only one defeat last season. None so far this. Incredible progress. Yorkshire could dominate county cricket for years to come and people will say how boring it is when they keep winning the title!
It was a great day all round. Broad taking a load of wickets and Bresnan having a great knock then the way Sidebottom bowled was incredible. Another good effort from Broad but Yorkshire the deserved winners, and in such style
Apart from in 20/20 Easy money backing us to lose in it last sunday. Despite being away at the defending champions and having 8 guys missing we were odds on to win. Hopefully win at Leicestershire tomorrow.
It's a curiosity certainly that they can be so good at four day game but less good at one dayers. Annoyingly it's the 20/20 games that I get to see and I hate watching them get beaten. Somehow it will improve. Finch and Maxwell should be the magic ingredients but not been so far. They will be though, I'm sure
