barnsley born and bred and will never ever forget that, just because we had a bad month dont take away your identity or your love of barnsley it justs hardens your resolve id rather be a barnsley fan not knowing what next week will bring than be a man ure fan just cause they win more than they lose and sit in the pub watching on sky and believe they got the bragging rights because there wearing a shirt in front of a telly in a pub or club. The ups and downs of barnsley on a cold tuesday night is more appealling to barnsley fans, singing there hearts out like they will, with pride next week at hillsborough for there tarn team. through joy or despair we will still shout the boys on because we are barnsley through and through. and proud of it.
good post mate, agree wholeheartedly, its frustrating and i hate going to work and getting wound up my mates cos we lost, we are lucky to have a team after the dark days of administration and loads of "think they can run a club" owners, who would have thought in the last 6 years we can say "Barnsley FA Cup Semi Finalists" i for one thought i would never see that day and i have been a Red for 40 year, also have an Owner who cares about the club compared to the dark days of Doyle n Ridsdale n John dennis, im not convinced with our manager at the minute but where are we going to get somebody else? just as things were starting to look better we have took 20 steps back but lets get behind the team, everybody as their right to an opinion be a it good or bad but Im BARNSLEY BORN n BRED and live eat and breathe my hometown team, even if we god forbid end up in the Conference ill still be there
Cos I cant help falling in love with you... THE BARNSLEY. 40+ years and never once thought of divorce.
