Even I know that if you do that you are asking for trouble. Luckily they played for the draw after they scored and didn't go for another. This is where we have lost points. Here is a list of a few games that we were winning and lost out on points through defending deep.

Swansea (a) 2-2 (2-0 up threw away in last 5 minutes)
Birmingham (h) 1-1 (1-0 up, concede in last 5 mins)
Nottingham Forest (h) 1-1 (missed penalty and failure to hold on)
Watford (a) 1-1 (concede in last 5 mins)
Coventry City (a) 1-1 (concede in last minute)
Wolves (h) 1-1 (concede with 7 mins left)

Thats 12 points thrown away in the last 6-7 minutes. Not to mention the games against Southampton, Blackpool and Charlton at home that we just didnt turn up. I can not knock the effort from the team today but the tactics we made after going 1-0. Anderson could have won it at the end with an open header but how many time has he had a clear header and he has either headed it toward the goalkeepers hands or done what he's done today and missed completely. I aint blaming him for anything cos he is a good player but im just really really gutted. It is stil in our own hands though as if we beat Plymouth, we stay up. Great support today and we sucked that ball into the wolves net after some fantastic support getting behind them.

Speaking to a Wolves fan waiting for the train home - Said we should have had the points and that Wolves display was one of their worst for a long time. Said they looked to be still pissed up from last weekend.

Down to last game of season at Plymouth now. That's gona be expensive.
