Haha, just because I'm not a closet Rover like some...

And why should I want them to do well? I was still at school in the 2 years we got demolished by them and the stick I got was unbeleivable. People I didn't even no liked football we're all of a sudden Donny fans, Leeds fans we're life-long Rovers.

Only last week, I got numerous texts, 'When we come up we're gunna hammer you again', 'I hear we're signing Brian Howard' and all that *****.

So why should I want them to go up?

I would rather have Donny come up than Leeds. Coming from Wakefield i had to put up with the Leeds fans going on about their big club and constantly putting Barsley down. Best thing for a long time when they went down, hope they stay there for a long time to come ff

 

Same here - Keep Leeds down for another year, can't do with their Man Utd wannabe fans. Having worked in Leeds for coming up to 20 years, there's nothing more vulgar than the 'Leeds, Leeds, Leeds' fans. Oh, I didn't half chuckle when they had their points appeal rejected. All season they were working on the +15 league table and have been celebrating promotion since Xmas and even their 'nailed on' promotion to the premiership the following season. (Probably premier title and european cup the season after).

Prefer Donny v Carlisle for the final, with Donny winning at Wembley - Don't even want Leeds to get a sniff at Wembley.

It has an effect on me

I worked with a few Pikeys at the time when we were in the same league, and the hatred & vitriol aimed at us was almost unbelievable. They think they are the man utd of the lower leagues, a sleeping giant. Look at their average crowds 3.k to 4k lower than ours. The expectation levels at the start of the season were throught the roof. You watch if they don't go up this time, their pathetic crowds will be even more pathetic.

 

I'm rooting for Southend an all

The arrogance of John Ryan and the Donny fans I know means I never want to see them in the Championship, ever, under any circumstances. If it came to it I'd rather have Leeds back that Donny.
