How many DID you take to Anfield ? Dock Green starts at 19,000 , "some people say" Spa*ticus lowers it to 17,000 Time we get down to Brian Mahwinney it's down to 16,000 Someone else says you took 12 ,000 to Enfield and that then reduces to 7,000 Mind you it's a long long time ago so perhaps those memories...
I think you're dead funny Colin. Are you the same on the Blunts board? Don't let that sinking feeling in your stomach botther you either, it's just the prospect of another stuffing at the weekend. Or is it relegation that looms large? Who knows eh? Still that nice Mr Warnock will no doubt be preparing the appropriate excuses even as we write. Do you reckon you'll get as many points as we did?
RE: I think you're dead funny Colin. "as many points as you.." can you remember that far back ? I think you should be concerned with your plight at the moment...Derby County next up...
RE: I think you're dead funny Colin. does t'flat cap, pit booits and bag of tripe go down well in London then ? Go on lass fly
RE: HI MATE ARE YOU AT WORK? nt what, at work ? not seen you at circuit training for a while , doing other stuff ?
RE: I think you're dead funny Colin. so do they ? 2 points above relegation with the 2nd worst goal difference, Davey OUT
You know it. I know it. Warnock knows it. The FA conspiracy will ensure that you go down. Just resign yourself to the inevitable.
BLADEYPOO!!! How are you sweetie? It's been ages...muwahhh! It's so very good to see you haven't changed a bit, bless your pea-picking heart. Still full of enough hot air to send ten large balloons with full baskets to the stratosphere (blagger) (blagger) (blagger) (blagger) (blagger) (blagger) (blagger)
Maybe this clears it up ... From my scrap book when I was a 12 year old lass - first away game. (yes sad that I've kept it, but hey you never know when a Blade might step in & start talking about something they know nothing about).... " pictured above some of the estimated 19,000 fans who went to Anfield to cheer on Norman Hunters team. Fans braved thick fog and a series of accidents on the M62, and many didn't reach Anfield until well after the final whistle. Paul & Andrew Morgan pictured left, arrived inside the ground just as Barnsley fans were celebrating the 0-0 draw with their own version of "You'll never walk alone". Andrew said " There were thousands like us who dodn't get in until the end, but the journey was worth it to see the ground, and to see our fans inside. Even the Kop stayed on to applaud us. It was great, I just wished we'd seen the game." I'd scan it if I had a scanner & had the slightest idea on how to post pictures. There are other reports from local papers that suggest that there were 18,000 & 17,000, but those refer to fans actually in the ground... I can't remember if it was all ticket or not?
