LIVERPOOL's Adam Hammill would love to have another loan spell with Barnsley - and hasn't ruled out a permanent deal with the club in the future.
The winger had a successful 14-game spell with the Reds at the end of last season and scored a important goal on the last day of the campaign to help the club avoid relegation.

But Hammill has now returned to Anfield and must wait to see what planADVERTISEMENTs Liverpool manager Rafa Benetiz has for him.

"I've heard a lot of rumours that there are quite a few clubs interested in me, which is flattering, but I've never taken interest in those stories," revealed Hammill, who is preparingy

    for a holiday in Spain.

"All I know is that I've been told to return to training with Liverpool on July 6 and then hopefully I'll get a chance to chat to the manager and discuss my future.

"I really enjoyed my time with Barnsley. It was probably one of the best loan spells I've had. I'd really consider going back there.

"All the players were great with me and I felt really settled at the club. I always gave 110 per cent and was so glad the club stayed up.

"It also meant a lot that I scored on the last day of the season; that was an important goal.

"I'd love to have scored more - that's something I need to work on. Overall, though, it was a great experience for me."

Hammill has had other successful loan spells with Championship clubs Blackpool and Southampton, and also with Dunfermline Athletic.

But at 21 he is now looking to make a name for himself in the Premier League.

"I've always said I want to be a Liverpool player; it's been a dream of mine since I was a kid," added Hammill.

"But because it's such a big club it's always going to be difficult to break into the first team. I'll have to see what happens.

"It's been really nice to hear that Simon (Reds boss Davey) has praised me for the way I played.

"I got on well with him."

    Thats great to hear...

Sounds like he'd definetely consider coming back on loan and he hasn't ruled out a permanent deal.

Can't blame the lad for not wanting a crack at the Premier league, gonna struggle to get into that Liverpool team though in my honest opinion.

Heard he's been linked with Newcastle, Wolves, West Brom and Bolton of late so for him to say that is a joy to hear.
