..you don't always realize how much they have changed?
Well, I saw Barnsley vs Walsall on a cold Tuesday night in October when I was in the UK for my daughter's wedding. I have just seen the whole of thr play off match on the Sky feed against the same side and could not believe what I was watching. A completely difference... motivation, togetherness, pace, tactical nous commitment and a not inconsiderable amount of skill on display. What have they been feeding them on??
Incidentally someone (HT?) was commenting on Mawson getting beaten a lot. I must obviously use the same optician as that lino 'cos I though he was outstanding (as were all the team) and particularly in the 1st half was immense.
Mawson was outstanding on Saturday. He was one of four or five who could have justifiably won MoM.
