    and I'm making this up as I go along.

    but I think BFC asked the BBC not to show the Liverpool v Barnsley game as a favour, so they could piss off the fans AND get more money from them. I reckon it was in the 07/08 business plan.

    What a stupid comment. Of course they didnt

    They are cleverer and more subtle than that. They deliberately pissed off the BBC, see reference Radio Sheffield, so that they would choose not to show it.
