    Me too Sharpy lad but classicals ok.

    Jazz is genuine old fart country. I got accused of 'tapping my feet' to Oscar Peterson at a party last night, so I played some more today and still liked it.

    Have liked jazz ever since I was 14.They were musicians of a high order. If thats all you have to bother about when you are getting old, you are very lucky. What about the dodgy knees (going to Scarborough is a nightmare) Hands that feel as if you have writers cramp most of the time. The big one ... incontinence. Count your blessings and always keep a smile on your face.

    That must be very old then - I meet some of the categories above - eg liking Jazz - as long as its live not into the recorded stuff - even been to see John Dankworth and Ella Fitzgerald !

    not noticed any fall off of dreaming about the subjects of most of JLWBigLils posts though and long may that continue
